The content of the website www.mvptrans.gr , for brevity called site, was created and is owned and managed by Company “MARIOS PANAGOS – VICTORIA TOPTSIAN – TRANSPORT S.A.”, with trading name “MVP INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT S.A.” (104 El. Venizelou St., Kallithea, Attica, postal code 176 76, TRN 999941814), for brevity called MVP.

The site aims to provide information on the full gamut of services we provide as intermediaries in freight transport (road, sea and rail freight from Greece to Europe and Asia), customs clearance and the storage of goods, as well as to enable communication with current and potential clients and partners through the e-mail page, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the “Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy” (Privacy Notice) as posted on the site.

1. General information.

The use of the site is governed by the present general terms that all visitors/users should read carefully as using the site means that they have accepted said terms unreservedly in their totality. In case users disagree with the present terms of use, they should REFRAIN FROM USING THE SITE, otherwise they will be deemed to have accepted said terms in their totality. We reserve the right to revise the present terms of use at any time and for any reason whatsoever without prior notice or formality. Users should review the terms regularly to be aware of any changes and, if they continue to use the site, they will be deemed to have accepted the revised terms of use. Otherwise, users should refrain from using the site. The information and services provided therein are addressed solely to adults. We bear no responsibility in the event that minors use, of their own accord, any services that may be considered as inappropriate for them.

The information, content as a whole and services are provided “AS IS”. We use our best efforts so that all information and content posted on our site be of the utmost accuracy, clarity, completeness and availability without any warranty to this effect, hence we accept no liability for it. Similarly, all visitors/users acknowledge that they must exercise caution with regard to content and are responsible for any risks arising from use of content, including any decision to rely on the correctness, completeness, validity or/and utility thereof without making prior personal contact. Under no circumstance, including negligence, shall we be liable for any damage incurred by users due to or as a result of the use of the site. Users acknowledge that they use the site at their own peril and that none of the persons involved in creation, production or editing bear any liability. The trademark and all the contents, including but not limited to, software, texts, brands, trademarks, logos, graphics, images, photographs, video or audio files or audiovisual material in general or files of any kind, save for any expressly recognized third party rights, are our property and governed by the effective (national or international) provisions on Intellectual and Industrial Property. Hence, it is expressly prohibited, without our express prior consent, to reproduce, republish, copy, store, sell, transmit, distribute, publish, execute, download, translate or modify content in any manner or by any means whatsoever either in whole or in part or in summarized form. Users acknowledge that all the contents of the site are duly protected marks or products of intellectual property owned by us or by third parties (who have granted licenses); hence, all unauthorized use by any of the afore means may entail penalties or fines or payment of damages.

4. Illegal or undue conduct.

a. Users must comply with the provisions of national, European and International Law, on the one hand, and refrain from all illegal or abusive use of the content and services, on the other hand. Users are solely liable for any damage caused by the misuse or unlawful use of the site’s services.

b. Users may not publish, transmit, post or otherwise display indecent, desecrating, defamatory, insulting, intimidating, threatening, illegal pornographic or any other material which may constitute (or incite to) conduct that may qualify as a criminal offense or give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any legal provision.

Users represent that they recognize and acknowledge that we are neither obliged nor capable to control the safety and content of webpages or company services for which an external link is provided to connect to other websites. We reserve the right to terminate such use at any time as we think fit.

The management and protection of personal data pertaining to users or to our target public are subject to the terms and conditions of the present section and the terms of our Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy as posted on the site which apply jointly and that all users must read.

7. Applicable law.

a. The present TERMS OF USE are governed by the provisions of Greek Law and the Directives and Regulations of European Law and are construed in accordance with the rules of good faith and trade usage. In particular, the management of personal data of site visitors/users and the terms and conditions of use of “cookies”, as specified in our “Cookies Policy” posted on the site, are governed and regulated by the applicable provisions on the security and protection of personal data, i.e. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 “on the protection of natural persons from the processing of personal data and the free circulation of said data” (GDPR), the respective transposing Act 4624/2019, Act 3471/2006, Protection of personal data and privacy in the area of electronic communications and the amendment of Act 2472/1997, as well as the relevant decisions of responsible authorities and officials, as currently effective.

b. Should any term be found to be inconsistent with the law, and hence deemed to be null and void or voidable, it shall cease to be effective ipso facto (unless repealed by another valid term) without in any way affecting the validity of the remaining terms. The Courts of Athens have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes that may arise from the present terms or the construction thereof (by express prorogation of all other jurisdictions).
